I cannot believe that 2021 is over, and we are heading full speed into 2022. I am still working from home, and now it is weird to think that I ever used to go into the office. But I do miss dressing up to go out or meet friends and co-workers for lunch or dinner. Without such social events, my wardrobe is underutilized. And maybe that is why my December favorites have only one clothing item. The rest of the items are skincare, makeup, and haircare.
Let's start with the one clothing item. My December favorite is Madewell's Superwide-Leg Jeans in Eastchester Wash. They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. But if you are a fan of skinnies, these might not be for you. This pair is bulky with a relaxed fit giving super chill vibes.
I love to pair them with a tight or cropped top. Since the jeans have lots of volume, I try to wear a fitted top. This way, I balance out the look to have a coherent ensemble.
MERIT Complexion Stick
The second item is MERIT's complexion stick. It has become my favorite foundation. It is perfect for my skin type since I have an oily T-zone. The formula is not liquid and blends perfectly with my face oils. It is also thick enough to cover all redness, yet it sheers out, beautifully matching my skin tone.
True Botanicals Chebula Serum & Radiance Oil
The third product is True Botanicals' Chebula Active Serum and Pure Radiance Oil. I bought these two products in a set since the brand recommended using them together. I did not expect much from them, but I am glad to say I was wrong. After using them for about a month, I see my skin texture improved, redness reduced, and under-skin bumps disappeared. I will be re-ordering these two.
Pureology Leave-In Spray
The fourth product is Pureology's Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave-In Spray. I am constantly looking for new hair products. I have unruly frizzy hair that is fine and dry. The leave-in conditioner helps a lot with texture and frizziness, especially if I blow dry my hair. They become silky smooth giving total glam vibes.
I know this list is short, but these are indeed the best. I did not want to recommend something that I am still testing. I hope you enjoyed my December favorites. Like and comments. And I'll see you next time!
